Bob is an integral part of Ridgemont’s culture and is committed to facilitating continual improvement aimed at empowering our people to provide exceptional client service. He leads Organizational Development and works with the Executive Management Team to ensure all aspects of the organization are continuously evolving in a way that guarantees Ridgemont continues to lead the industry regarding clients, their projects and our internal competencies to support them. 

Under Bob’s leadership, Ridgemont Commercial Construction has grown from a company of ten employees to become one of the most successful privately-held construction management firms in the region.

Bob brings a career of valuable industry experience that began as a project superintendent and progressed through a variety of roles in the organization giving him expertise in all aspects of delivering the construction service. He is committed to our industry and has set on industry related committees such as the Board of Directors for TEXO. He also gives back to the community through his involvement in civic and charitable organizations.

Getting to know Bob...

What is your role in creating complete client confidence? 

Twofold.  To make sure our people have what they need to be successful and to ensure they understand the expectations.

What is it about Ridgemont’s culture that is so unique?

Our culture is defined by our core values and they are who we are and what we are about.  I believe that employees are looking for the same thing; an environment based on respect, honesty, and fairness.  Obviously compensation is important but our core values are much more important.  In my opinion, our culture and our core values are our greatest asset.

How do you contribute to Ridgemont’s culture?

By coming to work each day and working hard, doing the right thing, and maintaining a good positive attitude.  I expect it equally from myself as well as from all of our employees.

Why do you think Ridgemont is a great place to work?

Our people.  We try really hard to hire good people.  We also work hard to make Ridgemont a good place to work so that these good people will want to continue to stay with us.  That gets us to a place where our people genuinely care about each other.  I see it all the time and I think it’s pretty special.

What is your favorite part about your job? 

The day Christmas bonuses go out.  The ownership team feels a huge sense of responsibility to get it right.  Our business is extremely competitive and demands our very best.  We manage a lot of risk at very tight margins.  Our people give so much of themselves.  I cherish the day we get to reward our employees for their hard work and dedication.

How do you want your Clients to feel when they work with you? 

Like we had their best interest at heart.  Our brand promise is Complete Client Confidence.  That confidence is not given to us.  It’s something we have to earn each and every day.
